British Newspapers 1800-1900 Online

Further to my email of 5 May, it has been pointed out to me that many
libraries will allow their residents free access to this collection provided
they have a valid library ticket. It is true for Oxfordshire and believed
to be so for Buckinghamshire and Gloucestershire.

Some libraries will also provide access to The Times Digital Archive
(1785-1985) and also the 17th and 18th Century Burney Collection.

It is well worth making enquiries at your local library before considering
whether to take out a subscription.
